Wolves of God is an Old-School Revival tabletop role-playing game from Sine Nomine Publishing, designed by Kevin Crawford. It is set in the eighth-century Anglo-Saxon England of iron and ruin, after the fall of Roman Britain. Drawing on the tone of tribes, warlords and sagas, it stages adventures atop the wreckage of a collapsed empire.
Its dread grows less from any explicit monster than from historical decline itself. A world left indifferent and hostile once civilization has withdrawn shares a register with the ruin and remnant our own setting holds onto.
