Level 2 is an endless run of narrow, dark concrete tunnels lined along the walls with hot steam pipes. Some sections heat to as much as 93°C, and the escaping steam chokes both sight and breath.
The threat on this level is not a monster but the environment itself. The heat and steam become the pursuer, forcing you onward through corridors that would cook you if you stopped. It shows another face of the Backrooms, one that applies survival pressure through the physical conditions of the space alone.
