A British horror podcast written by Jonathan Sims and produced by Rusty Quill from 2016 to 2021. The narrator is the archivist of the Magnus Institute, and his job is to record and file a long-neglected backlog of supernatural statements. Each episode is one statement read aloud.
Statements that seem unrelated at first converge, as the episodes accumulate, on fourteen ancient Entities, each feeding on one kind of human fear: the dark, spiders, being buried, the hunt, and the sense of being watched. One of them is called the Eye, and the archivist’s work is precisely the Eye’s work.
It runs on the same grain as our own series: the hand that files walks into what it is filing. Reading and recording is not a safe outside, and as long as the filing continues there is no seat from which to stop.
