Gemini Home Entertainment is an analog horror anthology by the Canadian YouTuber Remy Abode, begun on November 17, 2019. It is built from VHS clips presented as if released by a fictional 1980s–90s home-video distributor, and as each clip reveals a little more, it weaves together a cosmic-horror invasion in which the sentient planet "The Iris" engineers the extinction of Earth’s life. Cosmic and body horror mingle with surrealism and Native American mythological elements.
The heart of the horror is the vast picture that slowly emerges between the fragments. Seemingly harmless instructional films and nature documentaries are revealed to have been pieces of a planet-scale threat all along, leaving the viewer before an enemy beyond the human scale. Along with Local 58 it is counted as a cornerstone of the analog horror genre.
