The Colour Out of Space

우주에서 온 색채

The Colour Out of Space tells how a colour belonging to none of humanity’s hues seeps from a meteorite fallen on a farm, withering the land, the plants, and the people from within. Lovecraft named it his own favorite.

With no monster and no god, a horror shaped from a single "unnameable" colour, it is the purest exercise of the technique of the indescribable.

H. P. Lovecraft · 1927
