SCP-239 appears to be a girl of about eight (Object Class: Keter), with shimmering gray-green eyes that emit a previously undiscovered form of radiation. While conscious, she can accomplish virtually anything she wills: “if she can see it, she can change it.” The Foundation keeps her in a cell lined with telekill alloy, held in a medically induced coma, and under no condition is she to be awakened.
Her self-preservation instinct makes her nearly invincible while awake, so the Foundation seals her power by making her believe she is a witch who may use only a pre-approved list of “spells.” Even her perceiving someone as “good” could bend reality to match. Because to observe and to name is to rewrite the world, she meets our thesis head-on: the record as manifestation.
