Rusalka

루살카

The Rusalka is a being of Slavic water folklore, regarded as the vengeful spirit of a maiden who drowned or died a violent death. She sings and dances by rivers and lakes, enchanting people and drawing them down into the water.

That a figure once tied to fertility turns to murderous intent makes her an archetype of the waterside uncanny, in which the very beauty that draws one near becomes the lure of death.
