Korean cosmic horror carries the sensibility of the Lovecraft Mythos into the distinctly Korean form of serialized web fiction. Many works are published under pen names on Munpia and KakaoPage, often blending Mythos elements with web-novel conventions such as reincarnation and game-like systems.
Out of this scene came an effort to standardize the Korean spelling of Mythos terms (the KNP naming policy), and the 2026 anthology "Al Azif" is counted among its turning points. The Korean spellings in this encyclopedia follow that analysis.
