Changeling

체인질링

The Changeling is a belief found across Europe: that fairies carry off a human child and leave one of their own in the empty place. The being looks the same yet is somehow wrong, and the parents are seized by the suspicion that the child closest to them is no longer that child.

As the faint wrongness sensed in the one nearest to us, it represents the horror within the home, born of alienness seeped into the familiar.
