Tatzelwurm

타첼부름

Also: Stollenwurm · Springwurm · Arassas

The Tatzelwurm is a lizard-like creature of Alpine folklore, essentially a sort of dragon. It is described with the face of a cat, a serpent-like body, and four short legs — or two forelegs and no hind legs.

Sightings are reported across the Austrian, Bavarian, French, Italian, and Swiss Alps. A legend of 1779 is on record, with accounts reaching back to the 17th century.
