Sigbin

시그빈

Also: Sigben

Sigbin is a creature well known in the Visayan Islands and Mindanao of the Philippines. It is said to walk backward with its head lowered between its hind legs and to drain a victim’s blood through their shadow rather than by direct contact, and it can turn invisible.

It resembles a hornless goat with large ears, a long whip-like tail, and a nauseating odor. Families called Sigbinan are believed to keep one hidden inside a clay jar.
